The standard adoption fee for our puppies 5 months to a year old is $497
Our rescue is in San Juan Bautista , All dogs are in Foster Home. We are a Foster Base Rescue with No Facility but we have a small volunteer staff, so we meet with potential applicants one-on-one by appointment only. This gives you a good amount of time with the dog(s) in which you have expressed interest
There are many ways to donate to our rescue! You can donate online through our website, mail a check to our address, or drop off supplies in person at one of our Adoption Fair. We are always in need of food, toys, blankets, and other supplies.
We are always in need of foster homes for our dogs who are not yet ready for adoption. If you are interested in fostering an dog, please fill out a foster application on our website. necessary supplies and medical are as needed.
It varies. Ideally, we would prefer the dog to remain in one home until it is adopted. The length of time it takes for a dog to get adopted can vary from a few weeks to several months, depending on the dog. If you have time constraints or are interested in being a short-term foster, please inform us.
Dogs require regular exercise, socialization, and attentive care, tailored to their age, size, energy level, and training. We aim to find the perfect match for you and your home.
We recommend that you spend time with an dog before adopting to make sure they are a good fit for your family. We also offer meet and greets with other family pets to make sure everyone gets along. Our adoption counselors will work with you to find the best match for your family.
Many foster dogs benefit from having animal companions. A meet-and-greet is part of the foster dog placement process to ensure compatibility with resident pets.
Adoption fee which goes towards vaccinations, heartworm, spay/neutering, micro-chipping, and medical care if needed. Fees help with kenneling, food, collars, leashes, worming, transport and sometimes even toys, and possibly the use of a dog trainer to help with behavior problems. These fees all go towards helping the dogs. We are an all-volunteer organization, with no paid staff. You don’t get this kind of full service and care when “buying” a new dog. Your new dog will come to you altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated and a stater goodies bag. Now all you need to do is get ready to meet your new best “fur”ever friend.
We rescue all dogs from the Central Valley, Kings County, and the Bay Area and sometime Surrender
1) We do dog to dog and people to dog to make sure the dog or dog(s) are right for our rescue program
2) Each dog undergoes careful medical evaluation
3) The rescue is equipped to handle challenging medical cases.
4)Dogs are assessed for aggression and only non-aggressive animals are rescued.
5) Dogs are transported to their foster and given the time they need to adjust.
This approach ensures that the dogs are in optimal condition and ready for their forever homes.
Most of the dogs we rescue are either stray or abandoned dogs. That said, their history is often unknown
Are volunteers have years of experience with Husky and Herding Dogs , either personally, or professionally, so we can tell you what we have observed. Shelters and transporting can be stressful for the dogs and they are much more relaxed and show more of their true personality after spending time in a foster home. Their online profiles reflect what we know at the time and we update them regularly.
The health of our dogs is of upmost importance to us. All the dogs receive full veterinary exams, heart worm and blood testing, treatment for whatever medical issues they have, fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, dewormed and given flea/tick treatment. All previous medical findings are disclosed to potential adopters. We do suggest scheduling an appointment with your veterinarian after adoption to start a relationship between your new dog and your vet. All of our dogs are adopted ‘as is’ and all future veterinary care is the responsibility of the adopter.
Your adopted dog can be returned to us at any time. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
We only adopted in the California and (Maybe in Nevada and Oregon it all Depend)
